The sunsets here in Nebraska are ALWAYS this beautiful...really! I tried to make it look like it was painted on. My husband called me from work one day...excited. "Come quick, bring your camera!" he exclaimed. I snapped about a dozen photos and then a big gust of wind blew all the snow off the trees. My neighbors have a BEAUTIFUL yard! These Asiatic Lilies are what I can see through our fence. My neighbors down the street returned the favor of this bouquet after I snipped them a few of my iris' and roses. We came out of church one day and headed for Walmart. These snowgeese caught my eye...and I just happened to have a camera in the car. I got out and they all flocked up in front of me. Grandma's recent visit (from Upstate NY) prompted a special visit to see the prairie dogs. They have taken over some territory at an old ammunition depot just outside of town. This is the Platte River in Nebraska. We go there every spring to see the sandhill cranes migrating.
